Eric and his team at SOTA have been fantastic. They installed new engineered rift and quartered white oak flooring over radiant heating (Warm Board) and maneuvered around tiled surfaces as well as steel railings. Then, they re-finished and stained existing red oak flooring to match the new white oak. No matter the challenge, Eric had a solution. And, he was flexible, communicative and very friendly throughout. He and his guys are great -- we recommend them highly.

This review is long over due. Eric and his team could not have been better. We closed on Thursday afternoon and Eric and his team were in sanding down the floors Friday morning. Our plan was to go with a light natural floor. Upon sanding the team found out the original developer used two different color woods and sealed it over with a dark brown finish. Something we didn’t want. SOTA came up with a grey floor solution that we loved and was able to cover up the dark wood planks. I believe we moved into the apartment the following Thursday, only a week from closing despite the unforeseen curveball. Everyone who comes over compliments us on our floors. Thanks SOTA.

I highly recommend working with SOTA. I feel so lucky that I stumbled upon them. They helped guide me through the decision process of picking hardwood flooring. They were objective and impartial, and helped me make the best decision for my needs. Then they installed the new flooring in our new apartment. This is my first time doing any kind of renovation. I worked with a contractor and SOTA. The contrast between those two relationships was striking. While my contractor was challenging to work with, Eric from SOTA was a great communicator, honest, transparent, helpful, and he frequently engaged in creative problem-solving. I could not be happier having worked with them, and the floor looks incredible. Google reviews helped me make my decision, and I hope this review can point you in the right direction as well.
